Encore Resale Fashions operated in the sale industry before it became popular.
Since its founding in 1973 by sisters Ruthmary Tscholl and Joyce Theken, who had the idea after shopping at a consignment shop in Cleveland, the clothing ( and more ) store at 4125 Cleveland Ave. NW has been operating out of the same location.
