CLEARFIELD – Five men accused of assaulting and robbing a person before taking his garments and stealing his vehicle were scheduled for initial trials Wednesday.
The claims stem from an incident on Oct. 6 at a Powell Avenue residence in Hyde where the man was reportedly attacked. After he ran from the field, he was able to find some clothing at a bucket near a chapel and contacted a tenant on Riverview Road who called officers.
One of the accused apparently admitted that they targeted the sufferer because they knew he had medication. A bag containing 21.75 grams of crystal meth was recovered from one of the offenders.
John Irwin, 40, DuBois, and Jason Roy Sipe, 43, Hyde, are charged with several felony counts of crime, assault, and theft, as well as misdemeanor unlawful caution, terroristic threats, easy abuse, and more.
Both gentlemen waived their rights to primary sessions, sending their instances on to the courtroom of common requests.
Irwin is incarcerated on$ 100, 000 loan. Sipe’s bail was lowered from$ 150, 000 bail to$ 150, 000, unsecured on Wednesday and he was released, according to online court documents.
A hearing was held for Paul Harold Hoyt, 34, Curwensville, who is charged with three felony counts of conspiracy, criminal robbery and possession with intent to provide a controlled substance, as well as criminal recklessly endangering another man, purposeful possession of a controlled substance, two counts of conspiracy/simple assault and possession of drug paraphernalia and Bradley Alan Maines, 47, Woodland, who is charged with three misdemeanor counts of conspiracy, and criminal recklessly endangering another man and two counts of conspiracy/simple assault.
District Judge David Meholick ruled all claims against them been sent on to the county court. Both gentlemen have bail set at$ 150, 000 and stay at the county jail.
Taylor James Wisor, 35, Hyde, is charged with three felony counts of conspiracy, and criminal matters of possessing instrument of murder, recklessly endangering another man, possession of drug paraphernalia and two counts of conspiracy/simple abuse.
He waived his right to a reading. His bail was reduced from$ 50, 000 to$ 50, 000, unsecured bail and he was released.
According to the oath of possible cause, the victim, who was dressed in women’s clothing, told authorities he had been assaulted and his car stolen.
He explained he had been driving about with Maines, whom the officers identified as a” known medicine user/dealer” to various places in the state. Maines got a phone call from Hoyt also identified as” a identified drug person” in the document and the victim then drove to a Powell Avenue residence.
When on field, Maines exited the defendant’s truck and talked with Hoyt as they walked around the house. The target realized that Maines had left his cigarette in his vehicle, but he got up and attempted to return it to him.
He told authorities that two people approached him from behind and struck him in the legs and shin area with baseball bats. He was assaulted and threatened, and they made him strip until he was absolutely naked. Even though he was dressed, they took his bag, phone, and cards before forcing him to leave.
On a home close to Riverview Road, the victim claimed to have fled and hidden. He discovered a field that with clothes that he put on to “make himself look good” close to the church. After that, he went to a local house and ordered the occupants to dial 911.
He claimed that because the two attackers were hiding behind faces, he had no idea who they were. The owls were constructed from dark wood and metal steel.
Authorities claimed that the sufferer was unaffected by Maines or Hoyt.
Wisor’s vehicle entered the Hyde car wash and stopped in a regular clean sea as one officer was making his way to the Powell Avenue apartment where he knew Sipe, who was wanted by express pardon, lived. In the rider seats was Hoyt.

Wisor claimed to have been sleep during the abuse during this interrogation and provided information based on what Hoyt had told him.
Hoyt was unwilling to converse with the soldiers.
When Wisor gave the police permission to search his house, they discovered a gold wicket and some of the victim’s clothing in his garage.
Officers saw a lot of garments lying around on the road leading to the truck when they went to Mann Road to look for the auto. The truck’s side mirror, passenger side door, and side scrapes were all damaged.
In a subsequent meeting, the sufferer claimed to have heard that Sipe and Irwin, another” known medicine user/dealer,” were the people who had robbed him. He claimed that Irwin, the shorter of the two suspects, had threatened to “beat his neurons in.”
According to the criminal complaint, police examined the defendant’s legs and discovered that both ankles had significant contusions.
Officers discovered Sipe in the garden of the Powell Avenue house on October 10 and detained him for the express parole permit.
Sipe “originally was false, but then started to cooperate,” according to an interview with the authorities.
Based on an affair involving Irwin’s girl, Sipe claimed that there were “issues” between him and the target. He claimed that Irwin instructed him to hold the copper bat while holding the wooden bat.
Sipe responded that he owed Irwin medicine income when questioned about his willingness to listen to him.
He acknowledged that they were wearing bandanas when the affair occurred, but he insisted that the target was unharmed. Irwin, according to Sipe, struck him a few times in the legs with the copper bat before shoving him into the car and removing his clothes. The target finally took off running.
Sipe responded that it was “over medication” because the sufferer had been selling them when asked if this had anything to do with a murder.
He explained that Hoyt drove the vehicle to Mann Road and struck a inbox after calling the sufferer to get him to the house.
Wisor started to collaborate during his meeting and acknowledged his involvement in the rape.
He claimed to understand why the sufferer was being invited to the house. He claimed that Sipe had taken the earthen pitcher from his car. He claimed that Irwin had a wicket as well.
Wisor claimed that the sufferer “getting conquer” was all he could discover in his head.

Wisor claimed that he instructed Hoyt to get rid of the “product” because it made him uncomfortable with the volume present at this home. Hoyt, however, claimed that selling it would bring in money.
