Four women are accused of stealing clothes from a Bridgehampton TJ Maxx and throwing it out of the car windows while fleeing police.
Southampton police say two of the women initially stole $1,500 worth of clothing from the store on Thursday.
Police say when they saw the car, they witnessed the women attempting to get rid of the evidence.
The suspects eventually crashed into a police cruiser and were arrested.
