No wine enthusiasts should miss out on this enjoying experience.

Featuring more than 100 beverages, each properly curated as the standouts of Ontario’s major wineries, the 2024 Cuvée Grand Tasting promises an experience like no other as it takes over the Holiday Inn Hotel and Conference Centre in St. Catharines on Saturday, March 30.

The event, which is organized by Brock University’s Cool Climate Oenology and Viticulture Institute (CCOVI), is the largest party of VQA wine of its kind and highlights Ontario’s wine market, which is a significant financial vehicle for the state.

Almost 40 Ontario VQA wineries will be featured at The Cuvée Grand Tasting, along with 10 restaurants preparing completely paired cuisine at lived cooking stations.

” We could n’t be more excited for this event’s return”, said Cuvée Manager Barb Tatarnic. The Grand Tasting is more than just a chance to sample a curated collection of Ontario’s best beverages. Additionally, it’s a chance to learn from renowned wineries from all over the state straight, all while supporting the next generation of professionals in the field.

The Cuvée Legacy Fund, which was established to provide funding for industry-driven research activities and student scholarships, is a beneficiary of the proceeds from the occasion. Since CCOVI took over the organizing role in 2015, more than$ 122, 000 has been raised through funding for the industry’s coming through education and research.

Along with the Tony Aspler Award of Excellence and the Cuvée Vineyard of Excellence and Winemaker of Excellence prizes, the Grand Tasting did honor leaders in the country’s wine and liquor industries.

Following the Grand Tasting, the day erupts with the largest market celebration of its kind: the special Après Cuvée. Winemakers and great tasting attendees will dance the night away as Niagara’s personal Jonesy performs live music on the stage. A selection of expertly selected geographical icewines, sparkling wines, and create beers will be on hand for guests to sample.

For those looking to expand their Cuvée knowledge, the Cuvée en Route passport system kicks off the long trip events on Friday, March 29, running until Sunday, March 31 at more than 20 participating wines across Niagara. A full list of participating wines can be found at Grand Tasting and en Route.

En Route card tickets can be purchased separately, but a Grand Tasting solution will give visitors access to the Grand Tasting occurrence, the Après-Clove party, and more than 100 beverages. Grand Tasting tickets are available online at for$ 245 per person. Only$ 50 is available for the en Route passport.
